About Scientify
It began with one class on Zoom in 2022.
Scientify Education teaches data science and AI in Indonesian. We started with one small batch learning over Zoom. Today there are 260+ video lessons, and 300+ alumni have learned with Jihar.
The Scientify story
The first batch
Scientify grew out of a simple wish: to make data science something anyone can learn. The first batch learned online through Zoom and Google Classroom, and its students came by word of mouth.
The second batch
Feedback from the first batch led us to a second.
Our own website and LMS
For the third batch, Scientify launched its own website and Learning Management System, so learning became more structured.
Now
A video platform
Scientify became a video platform: 260+ video lessons across 12 courses, which anyone can watch, at any time.
Founder and instructor
Founder and lead instructor.
Jihar Gifari works as a data scientist in the UK, and before that at Shopee. He founded Scientify because he believes anyone, from any background, deserves a good education in data science.
Jihar writes the Scientify curriculum and leads the teaching, from the first batch on Zoom to the videos you watch today.
I believe working with data isn't only for people who studied IT. It's a universal skill that can change anyone's career.
