What is Scientify Education?
A video course in data science and AI, taught in Indonesian and founded by Jihar Gifari, a data scientist working in the UK. There are 260+ video lessons, and every topic comes with a portfolio project to practise on.
Who is Scientify for?
Beginners who have never coded, fresh graduates from any major, students, and professionals moving into data. If you're not sure which level to start at, the short quiz can help.
Do I need prior coding experience?
No. The Foundational level is designed for beginners who have never coded at all. You learn from scratch.
What is the learning format?
On-demand video. You watch whenever suits your schedule, and every topic comes with a portfolio project to practise on.
How long does it take to complete one level?
It depends on your pace. Every video can be watched at any time, so you set the rhythm. For a sense of size, Foundational has 98 videos across 4 courses.
What's the difference between Foundational, Intermediate and Advanced?
Foundational is for beginners: Python, SQL, statistics and data visualisation. Intermediate is for those who know the basics: machine learning, unsupervised learning and time series. Advanced is for going deeper into AI: deep learning, NLP and computer vision.
Prices and payment
What if I want to move up to a higher level?
Each level is bought as its own package, and you can buy another level's package at any time. The Intermediate package also opens every Foundational course, and the Advanced package opens every course in all three levels.
Can I access the materials after my package ends?
No. A level package gives access for the length you choose: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months from when your payment is confirmed. If you want access with no end date for a single topic, choose the lifetime option when buying per topic.
Is there a student discount?
The site doesn't list a student discount. Current prices are on the pricing page, and longer packages cost less per month. For any promotion that's running, ask on WhatsApp.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Payments are processed by Midtrans. The available methods, QRIS for example, are shown on the payment page before you pay.
Access and technical
How do I access the videos after paying?
Once your payment is confirmed, your courses appear under My learning. Log in to your account, choose a course and play the videos.
Can I watch the videos on my phone?
Yes. Videos play on a phone, tablet or laptop, right in the browser.
Can I download the videos?
No. Videos stream on the site and can't be downloaded.
Is there a limit on how many times I can watch a video?
No. As long as your access is active, you can play every video as often as you like.
Do I need special software?
To watch, a browser and an internet connection are enough. For practice, the tools differ by course, for example Python, Jupyter Notebook, PostgreSQL or Tableau.
What if I have a technical problem?
Send us a message on WhatsApp or by email and describe the problem. If it's about a payment, include your order number.

What language are the videos in?
Indonesian, with technical terms explained.
Are there exercises or quizzes?
Every topic comes with a portfolio project to practise on, so you learn by doing.
Career and portfolio
What are the portfolio projects like?
Every topic has a project you build yourself. You can show the result on your CV or LinkedIn.
Do I need a specific degree for a career in data?
Not to learn at Scientify. Foundational starts from zero and doesn't require an IT background. The education a job requires is set by the company hiring for it.
